Artist Statement
2025
I am hungry to create with the world. My process is deeply intuitive and fueled by an endless flow of ideas that cannot be confined to a single medium. Whether through photography, painting, or design, I constantly seek new ways to connect and confront.
Much of my inspiration comes from personal history: my transition from a life defined by athletics to one centered on creativity, the sacredness of living in a small, slower-paced city engulfed by wilderness, and moments of spiritual awakening that revealed the interconnectedness of all things. The past four years have been a time of intense growth and healing, laying the foundation for the artist I am becoming. Almost all of my work has centered on themes of rage, reclamation, and release...ideas that reflect my own healing from trauma and my transition into adulthood.
Now my focus is turning outward. I aim to create exhibit that is both transformative and cathartic, for myself and the audience -by amplifying voices and fostering collaboration, creating spaces for mutual healing. I call this next phase Exposing Harm—a body of work that challenges systemic oppression, patriarchy, and shame while shifting the burden away from victims. This exhibit will serve as a vessel for both personal and collective transformation, confronting harm while celebrating resilience.
At its core, my art is about transformation, connection, and the unrestricted power of creation.
