Hi I’m Nayeli.

Nayeli Mancilla (she/her) is an artist based in Silver City, New Mexico, with mixed Mexican-American heritage. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, she works across photography, painting, drawing, and graphic design,

Blending expressionist oil painting with contemporary visual storytelling, her work engages with themes of healing, resistance, and collective growth, reflecting an ongoing commitment to liberation and social awareness.

Mancilla has designed for Western New Mexico University and collaborated with local nonprofits including The Semilla Project and Heart of the Gila. Her work has appeared in regional exhibitions and received recognition from the New Mexico Watercolor Society and the John Stermer Foundation. She is currently developing her BFA exhibition for Spring 2026 on reciprocity, resilience, and resistance.
